Costa Blanca
Costa Blanca is known for its glorious white beaches just off the east coast of Spain, with its north coast starting with Denia and Javea located at the bottom of a mountain and its south coast being made up of Torrevieja and Elche, known as the palm tree capital of the world. The Costa Blanca can offer tourists both the experience to discover the untouched areas of Spain and the more livelier developed areas.
Costa Blanca is also made up of the famous and extremely popular destination of Benidorm, which is known for both its beaches, but also for its famous Benidorm nightlife! Benidorm not only offers a good nightlife with around 1000 places to dine and well over 30 discos, it is also protected by 1558 metre high mountains which guarantee tourists the protection against the cold north winds, guaranteeing hot weather.
Along the northern coast tourist can experience long sandy beaches, orange groves and huge mountains in the likes of Gandia or they can go along to Denia which is made up of a marine port which allows them to catch a ferry across to places like Mallorca and Ibiza. Also further along the northern coast is Jalon Valley which is famous for its vineyards, with two working towns close by.
Along the South Coast of Costa Blanca you will find the posh and upmarket area of Altea which is made up of hills of white houses and plenty of designer shops to look in along it long and winding streets. Then along the southern coast are a number of beach resorts, though none as big as Benidorm they still have plenty to offer, they include places such as El Campello and Alicante, which is where the main airport in Costa Blanca is located which therefore means it sees the majority of tourists pass through.
