Sailing
Sailing is becoming an increasingly popular activity amongst holiday goers who want to enjoy the sun but explore what the gorgeous Mediterranean and Atlantic Sea has to offer them. Spain has since become one of the top destinations for sailing with 4000km of beautiful coastline and 200 sailing harbours; it isn't hard to see why! Surprisingly sailing is actually an old past time which the locals have only just started to catch up on, for this reason it is still seen as an activity only the wealthy take part in and so you can often spot them sailing the most expensive yachts deep into the sea.
If tourists come at the right time they may also get the chance to watch how the professionals do it, with Spain being the host of several Sailing competitions; however for those who don't wish to race along side them you are able to sail with your own private party.
Those eager to learn how to sail may also be interested in taking up sailing lessons whilst on holiday which they will be able to in role in along the harbour. During these lessons you are able to learn how to be an active member of a sail crew and how to handle the day to day jobs on board a moving sail vessel for example moving the sails.
